Juliana Silveira

unnamedJuliana Silveira is a Brazilian pianist graduated from Santa Marcelina University (São Paulo-Brazil), major in Jazz/Brasilian Piano, minor in Music Education. In 2007 she studied in Berklee College of Music (Summer Program-Jazz Piano and Arranging). Back in São Paulo, Juliana had jazz piano lessons with Débora Gurgel, Edmundo Cassis, Mariô Rebouças and Edson Santana, and classical piano lessons with the renowned Maria José Carrasqueira. She took part in a wide range of different bands from the rich music scene in São Paulo, from big bands to piano solo performances; and during this time performed in various important stages in the city. Besides her work as a pianist and arranger, Juliana has had a relevant experience and background as a piano/keyboard private teacher, as well as early childhood music groups, having taught in important music schools in Sao Paulo. Her private students go from pop and rock players to classical players. In 2017 she moved to Austin, Texas, where she continues to give piano and keyboard lessons to students of all ages.
