Summer Camps should be fun, and ours are for sure, but there’s no reason your child shouldn’t continue to learn too this summer! Don’t Stop Rockin’ offers a fun, interactive and totally Rockin camp with an approximate 3 to 1 student / instructor ratio, (no 18+ kids per class around here) at an affordable price. We have a variety of offerings for your rocker this summer. Rock Band I for those with tons of experience on their instrument, who want to put their skills together with other people their age and Rock super hard. Rock Band II also Rocks faces off, but is designed for those with a little less experience to still be able to jam with friends.

Group vocal is for the budding Adele or Robert Plant in your family. The group will learn a variety of classic and contemporary tunes.

We’ll have a maximum of 6 students who will learn up to 4 contemporary and classic pop songs during the week. We won’t just talk the talk, we also walk the walk. On Thursday you will be invited in to watch the group perform some of their favorites.

Rock Band Camps I / II – Classic Rock

9:30am – 1:30pm

Rock Band I – Advanced musicians with minimum 2 years experience required on instrument. (Less, if your rocker totally rocks or if they are a singer)

These Rockers can work out most songs themselves with only a small degree of instructor assistance, once provided with the audio and music charts.

.

Rock Band II -Intermediate level with minimum 9 months experience on instrument

Once provided with the audio and music charts and 10-20 minutes guided instruction, these rockers will be able to be prepared to rock with the band shortly afterwards.

.

Rock Band III -Beginner level with minimum zero experience on instrument

Perfect opportunity for rockers with no musical experience all the way to the very experienced musician who wants to try their hand at a different instrument in a camp. Also a good fit for someone to rock their current instrument if they are relatively (less than 6 months) new to it.

During each 4 hour camp we will work together and individually to learn and master the different sections of the songs. Each student will receive individual instruction from an instructor during the camp and then the group will perform songs for you on the final day (Thursday afternoon) and Rock your face off! The students will rotate instruments per song so they will have the opportunity to try a couple / few different instruments during the camp.

Also, the bands have the opportunity to potentially write an original hit!

We will provide a variety of song options for the band and discuss who to make the group as a whole sound good. Most song choices will be from our catalogue of classic rock songs.
