Ben Stephens

Ben Thomas began playing guitar at 13 years old and music has driven his life ever since.  After graduating from the Berklee College of Music in 2011 he began teaching in Nashville, TN near his hometown.  He has performed in many cities around the country in genres including Rock, Jazz, Neo soul, Americana, and solo ambient guitar.  He is a composer, an improviser, and a multi-instrumentalist who has a wide ranging approach to playing and teaching music.  His passion for music and for conveying musical knowledge and concepts is palpable. 

Recently, his album “Transmissions from a Dream” was included in the Austin Public Library’s Electric Lady Bird Collection which showcases up and coming local musicians.
