When school is out and parents still have to work, DSR’s One-Day Rock Camp gives students a full, engaging day doing something meaningful, creative, and collaborative.
Students spend one complete day at the Don’t Stop Rockin’ writing, recording, and filming an original song and music video—guided by our team of professional musicians, producers, and engineers.
- Our next camps are February 16th and 17th.
- Sessions run from 9am – 3pm.
- Cost: $79 per day.

A Full Day. A Real Project.
This is a true start-to-finish creative experience
- Write an original song
- Record and mix it in a real studio
- Film interviews + behind-the-scenes footage
- Create a finished music video to share
Perfect for school holidays when students need structure, inspiration, and something more exciting than another day on screens. No experience required!
Creative Team
- Choose a musical style
- Build chord progressions (A / B / optional C sections)
- Write lyrics and define song structure
- Name the band and song
- Prepare musicians for recording
Recording Team
- Set up microphones and studio gear
- Learn close vs. distant miking
- Track and mix the song
- Explore signal flow, EQ, and DAW basics
- Understand sound image and frequency ranges
Media Team
- Film the creative process and student interviews
- Learn camera basics, framing, and headroom
- Capture headshots for all teams
- Develop music video concepts and storyboards
- Sync video with the finished track

Every instructor is a skilled musician with that little twinkle in their eye when they talk about music. I have never seen such creativity when it comes to teaching music.
