Voice & Piano teacher
Razaak Eniola
Born in New York and raised in Eastern Shore Maryland, Razaak’s musical journey began at a young age playing classical piano and violin. Later while attending college he participated in many different music groups including the Harvard Krokodiloes, a Jazz a-capella singing group, as well as the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College, a choir that focused on singing music from the African Diaspora. After graduating, he decided to continue his musical journey by attending Mmmmaven, a music production school in Boston, where he learned how to DJ. And now he currently Djs private gigs as well as open mics here in the local Austin area.
Razaak believes that music is a universal language that has the power of bringing people of many different backgrounds together. As a teacher, he empowers his students to be curious, make mistakes, trust their own inner compass, and most importantly have fun! Great technique is important and a wonderful foundation, however music is not about how difficult the song is or how good the notes sound. It is about being able to express oneself and be a bridge that authentically connects with others.
